New Bulldog elec jack...question

Just installed a brand new bulldog 3500 lb. electric jack on my TT, to replace manual jack. Simple install. The LED light comes on fine with switch, but motor does not engage. I must have power, because light comes on. Is there a motor reset? I emailed Bulldog, but it's after hours. Any ideas? Thanks. Jimbo

Does the lift mechanism work with the emergency crank (ie, is it mechanically free to move)?

The light would work/motor would not if there was insufficient voltage and/or current

Check grounding. Scrape all paint and put star washers under mounting bolts.

Thumbs up Bulldog Jack problem solved

Guys, thanks for your suggestions. What I did first was to crank it manually a little in both directions. That seemed to do the trick. Didn't have to scrape paint for a better ground. Didn't have to direct wire to my battery. Just crank a little both ways. Hope this helps someone else in the future. Again, thanks for your suggestions. Jimbo.
