Good luck trying to send them back.
Some tire sizes/types are only made for a short time each year. The manufacturer estimates the next years sales and only make that many tires. Sometimes they overestimate or are short so they adjust their production numbers.
If they will take them back you may or may not get newer tires.

I can't imagine that Goodyear Endurance tires made last July wouldn't be fresh enough. I have a set of GY Endurance ST205/75R14 tires on our Minnie and really like them. If it were me with these tires I wouldn't think of sending them back.

You should be good for awhile. The GoodYears on my trailer are dated 09/10. Made in China too.

Where/how, they were stored is somewhat of a consideration .
BUT! JMHO of course.
Considering the usual life of a trailer tire is five years , I'd be looking for a discount on the price if you can't get a better date code .

While planning the last trip with my 5er , I went over my 5 year old China/ Goodyears with a fine tooth comb; 75% tread depth remaining ; even had them re-balanced; they didn't require any more weights.
3,000 miles into the cross county trip 3 of the 4 had separated .
JMHO: Past five years old on a trailer tire ...use at your own risk.

I just bought 4 new Goodyear Endurance ST tires 2 weeks ago. 205-75R/14 load range D instead of the C that was on the trailer.

Date code is 38th week, 2017.

Not an issue with me. I always cover my tires when in storage and sometimes on extended camping locations.

I have used Aerospace 303 Protectant for over 15 years on all the RV tires I have owned.

Maintaining your tires is worth more than date codes that are 3 months newer.

If they are not maintained over their lifetime, it doesn't matter.

I removed 2 tires at a time and took them to the dealer for mounting. I can tell you that the Goodyear's probably weigh at least 3 lbs. more per tire compared to the china bomb Rainier's that we on the TT from the factory.

Just a better quality tire all around.

Goodyear Endurance ST tires are now made in the USA.

My Rainier's were only 2 years old and looked OK. I'm heading on a 2 month cross country, 7000+ mile trip the end of April and just didn't feel comfortable taking a chance on the china bombs.

Already 8 1/2 months old

RV tires 'age' out vs wear out

6 months is my pass/accept date
AND YES I have sent them back and waited for next set
I tell Dealer UP FRONT........6 mos or less otherwise NO sell.

Truck and trailer tires.
Works for me.

That proves what? There are many reasons why that could happen besides age.

Mine were at the your 6 month cutoff timeframe. I requested the latest build date when they were ordered.

Could I have asked them to send them back and get a fresher set, sure.

I was good with this set and had them mounted.

My point is, if you don't maintain your tires, it doesn't matter the build date, no matter how fresh they are.

My 6 month old start date tires will last longer than any fresh date tires someone has installed when I maintain mine, and they don't.

I had new tires put on my class c and told the salesman that I wanted tires with this year's date on them. A few days later I looked and they were 3 years old. He said they were new list never sold. Won't be going back there

Tires that are aging in a warehouse are not under the same stress as tires that are mounted and exposed to the outside environment, UV elements, and dynamic loads. Your tires should be fine.
I ordered a tire from Simple Tire online a month ago and asked them about their return policy if the tires arrived too old for me. The salesman said that they would not be returnable if the tires were under 4 years old according to the manufacture date. I was concerned, but ordered the tires anyway and they were 7 months old when they arrived. I was relieved and OK with that.

Year old tires I"d ask for a 15-25% discount. But I'd mount 'em

Shelf life is 1/2 service life believe it or not.. That is for every year on the shelf Subtract 2 years from service life to be safe. And yes. it makes a difference if the tires are stored INDOORS or in sunlight (Indoors it is 1/1 outdoors 2 or possibly even 3/1)
