Central fl

You could always come to central fl and set up shop. I live at the beach where there are plenty of rules but if you head inland a ways it's pretty laid back. Not much to do besides fishing and boating, but at the "fish camp" it's pretty much do as you please. Big brother doesn't get out that way too much!

summerross,
As has been mentioned, where you plan to stay/live has a lot to do with whether it is allowed. You just need to figure out where you want to be, then begin checking with the local zoning authorities. Probably ain't gonna be allowed in any city limits, and the further away from a city/town, the more likely it is to be possible.
Where I am at, south of Fort Worth, all I would have to do is find a property, get permits for septic, then run electricity and dig a well. Not cheap, but doable. The really big concern is the sanitary situation, then follows the esthetics of a permanent RV and where it would be. I particularly bought in a builtup neighborhood so there was not chance of a permanent RV/mobile home next door. But I do store my fifth wheel on a slab with electricity and I could live in it if I wanted to--had to when I remodeled the house.

in florida, you have to have a septic permit before you can have electricty. you CAN NOT get a septic permit without a PERMANANT residence of a minimum size requirement. you CAN have a receptical for sewer hook ups and what not once you do have that permanant residence though. easiest option would be to look for a cheap lot with a mobile that is not worth much money then just try to look past it while living in the rv . (legally, if you demolished the mobile, within 90 days the septic would have to be abandoned leading us back into the viscious circle we were trying to avoid)

I know this doesnt help the OP out much but it will at least give ideas as to how living in an RV can be restricted without even saying it flat out
