We purchased our 2011 Dutchmen Kodiak in May of this year. We have been out three times and didn't have any problems with our rig. Then yesterday we pulled her home to clean her and get ready for a four week trip and the problems began.
No matter what we plugged into, we popped circuits. We store our rig in a closed storage and after we were finished cleaning we took the rig back to the storage and plugged her in there. We popped their circuits too.
When I arrived back home I put 2011 Dutchmen Kodiak into google and found a recall on voltage for all Dutchmen's built between May and December 2010.
I tried to run the vin number on our rig to find out when it was built, but haven't been successful so far. I wanted to know this info so when we called Dutchmen and our dealer I wanted to be armed with knowledge about the recall.
Does anyone else have a Kodiak with electrical problems? We haven't even gotten our plates and registration yet. I honestly don't know if I want this rig fixed or push to have it replaced. It is still under warranty with an extended warranty that we purchased. We were also notified that our Norcold refrigerator was recalled. I checked the serial number and model number and it appears that we were informed wrong on that one.
