Depending on where you are in Ohio and where you are going in North Carolina. I live in ne Ohio, and usually go to Charlotte area. We run interstate 77 from Akron right down to our exit near Charlotte.

LDovey,
I77 south, to I74 east to I40 east. take exit 364 to NC24 east to US17 east takes you right to Jacksonville. According to yahoo maps anyway.

Try getting you a decent Garmin GPS! This will help tremendously with the road trip and every event in between. LDovey posted a great basic way to get here in NC but you really have to pay attention to the signs in Greensboro area or you will easily miss your turn. Good luck to you I hope all of our input helped you out, Enjoy.

In the process of our first around the country tour. Started out from Cape Cod and presently in TX. GPS is very helpful when you make that wrong turn. Wish you luck and have a safe trip.
