New Truck Is Here! Travelling Tomorrow To Get RV!!
Finally my new truck has arrived after a week's worth of mods done to it. Next week another week's worth of mods and it will be complete. (FOR NOW) LOL
Anyway, it's been 3M'd now so I feel good about doing my long journey to go pick up that RV I've been pining about for soooo long! Some of you will remember!
Wish me luck getting the RV, I have never towed anything before so it's a taunting task for me, but I'm feeling the fear and doing it anyway!!
I will upload pics of the RV as soon as I get her home. Meanwhile.. here are pics of the truck.
Send me positive vibes and thoughts pls !!!

Thank you!
I am actually really excited more about the RV than the truck . I will remember to smile. I feel I have done everything I possibly can to get to here. All the things I will need for hook up and traveling I have got, so if it goes pear shape on Saturday, it wont be for the lack of effort and trying.
I know I will be excited, I keep telling myself NOT to rush the PDI by the dealership. I need to make sure everything is right!

Nice looking unit. You'll have to post some pics with the trailer hooked up.

Make sure you get the recommended miles on it before you tow anything. It could be somewhere around 500-1000 miles. The owners manual should tell you.

You went all out on the truck sharp interior what did and have had done to it. Good luck with the TT and towing is easy going straight it's back up that takes practice some have it some don't not over steering and learning to follow it back is everything once you get the hang off that you'll be alset

Nice looking truck. I really like the seats.
Good luck picking up your new RV. Just take it slow in the beginning and don't let anyone make you hurry up!
Looking forward to pics of the RV.
Happy Trails!!

Nice Wheels !!
Good Luck !!
I feel your fear. I pick up my TT two weeks from today. Having never towed anything larger than a utility trailer, I am a little nervous as well. Not my first experience with an RV though, so, I should be alright with details that seem to overwhelm many newbies.
We took a little longer to put our rig together. We made the decision to get a TT two years ago. It only took a year for my wife and I to agree on the TV and we got a Dodge Durango a year ago. It only took one more year to pick a TT.

Very nice. I just picked up my first tt yesterday and had to tow it 90 miles home, have never towed anything before either. Everything went great, just make sure you get tow mirrors , I would have had a lot more stress coming home without them. Don't count on the dealer having the right ones. My tt is 23' and I managed to back it down my 75' driveway that is only 10' wide fenced in on both sides. Took me 15 minutes, but I'm happy with that. I stopped at a big empty parking lot and practiced backing up 75' for about an hour, that helped. Good luck, have a blast.

Nice looking truck!!
Best of luck in geting your RV towed home. When we got our new truck we invested in some seat covers. Our seats look new because the covers take the brunt of the wear and tear. I also sprayed the carpet with scotch guard. Many happy miles.

Great looking truck... But as long as I can remember from my auto show visits, these well optioned, loaded Ram 1500s have a tendency to come with horrible payload capacity, even for a half-ton. Sometimes as low as 1000-1100 lbs. The worst was an Ecodiesel, with just 940 lbs. on the sticker!

Wow good to know! Yikes. I've done almost a 1000(km) . I am at the hotel in Penticton and will pick it up in the morning. Regardless I have no choice now lol I can't do any more miles on it. I'm glad it was far away to get it now. Truck drove like a dream.
