Newbie Here

Found this forum through another RV'er. I have a 1999 nomad 24' TT I want to learn all I can, so if I run into problems later or out in the boonies, I can handle it.
That said,. The left front side, has water damage and I am in the process of repairing myself.(not out in the boonies this time) I am hoping some of you can direct me to links about taking the skin (siding off),properly. I tried You Tubes, but they only have before and after. I already started, but have found that the second from the bottom panel is stapled under the "s" crease, I am having a hard time, getting the very bottom panel to come off, since it has fallen over the hitch due to structure damage. That piece is already torn, which I am hoping I can replace all together.

Thanks for any and all input.

new to this forum. i'm kinda lost on how to start a new topic

I just purchased a 2004 Fleetwood Terry 290 FQSG from another state and I need to find the VIN to get it registered in my state. No labels on the trailer have it, and I see no numbers on the frame by the tongue. I even took it to an RV dealer and they can't find it either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Aluminum siding

Hemet Vallley RV is an aluminum siding manufacturer. They have lots of styles to match vintage and contemporary siding - I think you can get what you need from them.

Good luck with your project - I am also tearing off the front skin on my trailer (when the rains stop) to repair some water damage. I have some delamination on filon front cap....

Post photos of your project!

I have also been watching youtube of a guy who bought and rebuilt an old shasta trailer - lots of interesting and helpful details - Jennie's Garage Shasta Trailer - check it out!
