Newbie question and/or comment!

Hello all! I'm new to the forum and to the world of travel trailer camping!! We are up to 13 nights so far and plan to do some more before it gets too cold and the snow flies (yes I'm from Canada). My question is more from observation and trial and error. I know that Jeep owners and motorcyclists all give the "wave" to each other every time they pass each other. I've tried doing this to other RVers and I'm 0 for 5. Just wondering if anyone else out there has tried this and if they were successful or not. Just a thing of curiosity on my part I guess!

Welcome to iRV2. We are glad you joined. As to your question, there has been discussion on her before concerning the "WAVE" some do some do not. I wave at other RV's (when the road conditions allow) and at other Jeepers, some wave back some do not.

It makes me happy to wave at others. I am from Eastern North Carolina

Wave, Smile

Ya know, that is funny. I took a motorcycle trip from Monterey CA to Fairbanks AK in 1976. I was never waved at until I was in Canada. Times have changed, Harley owners will now talk to Honda owners. But do RVers wave? I don't see that much. We wave. Maybe because we too are new at it or maybe because it's fun to see the looks on thier faces as they seem to be thinking "Do we know then?". If we see a TANGO trailer, for sure. We have a TANGO and don't see many. Go ahead, WAVE, SMILE and drive them nuts! I have met some great people once you meet them one on one.

If I don't wave it's probably because I'm texting and eating popcorn
