newbie water pump/city water question

Hi all, total newbie question here...just bought a 2008 malibu and the manual is unclear on this, but if I'm hooked up to city water do I need to turn on the water pump? Or will pressure from the city water be fine? (I do have a pressure regulator)...thanks all!

Make sure you use the regulator and leave the pump off. The water for the pump, only comes from the fresh water holding tank.

Happy camping!
