We're back from our first camp in our new TT. Me & fam had a blast. We've camped many times in a tent but I finally had enough of that. Me & my wife were laying in bed fri & sat night laughing cuz it was 55 degrees out side & we were nice & warm. My wife ask why we didn't get one sooner. We're hooked!

& congrats on your new TT. Yeah, it only takes being in a nice, cozy & dry RV on just 1 cold or rainy night & you realize you won't go back to a tent. Safe travels & many happy memories.

You'll appreciate it even more when you're so old that you have to get up several times during the night - that's why we stopped tent camping a moved to a self-contained trailer.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking rig. Cute pic of the kids roasting marshmallows.

Now all you need is a source for camp fire stories. I spent many years going to storytelling festivals, and use those "treasures" to entertain the kids in our church youth group. My guys love camp fire stories, Jimm Zi/

Looking at your rig Mike. How long/heavy? What motor in your Ford?

Sue and I are taking the dip here real soon.

Enjoy your new rig. There's a big difference between tent camping and RV camping. Keeping dry and warm is only one of the benefits. Not having to crawl out of a warm sleeping bag to walk to the rest rooms at 3 AM is another. You're going to love your TT.
