No Backup Lights on TT?

Picked up my new 2016 Coleman 192RDS and was a little surprised it doesn't have any back/reverse lights on the tail lights. Is this a common thing with TT? Is the system wired for them if I wanted to change out the stock tail lights?

Unless you build one in, there is no circuit for getting power to back up lights from the tow vehicle.

On my KZ there is a wire from the center pin of my 7 pin plug in the junction box. Truck is wired to the center pin for reverse lights. Tapped into the wire from the box and ran a wire to rear of trailer where I installed 2 6x3w LEDs. This helped immensely as I must back down my street which is about 1/10th of a mile long and swing into driveway. This occurs mostly during the night after a long weekend.
I recently added two more to the front portion of trailer so I can see where the trailer wheels are and alongside in addition to behind the trailer. I can see clearly now when backing at night. I am also only using a total of 72 watts so I am not using a relay, just the power from truck.

I have been wondering the same thing myself... Why dont they have backup lights?? Cannot answer that one but, with a little running of wire from your vehicle and to the back lights (you have replaced with backup light capb), walaa! My trailer is not wired for them. Most likely if it does not have backups, it is not wired for them and you will have to do it yourself.
