Open Range The Light vs Grand Design reflection

Just want to hear from owners about their experience with these two companies and their tts. I am trying to choose between the Reflection 308BHTS AND The Light 308BHS. They both seem like very high-quality trailers just would like to hear from owners.

So far the Reflection is on my short list, but I've not looked at the Open Range unit. Perhaps I should.

They both seem to be high quality. It is going to be a hard choice.

I'm also looking at Black Stone by Outdoors RV, Winnebago Ultra-Lights (strong favorite right now), and Eagle by Jayco. The problem with the Black Stone is the closest dealer is in the Denver area. I'm getting the impression from some that the Jaycos are not as good as they were a few years back. A couple of others that are getting mild consideration are Solaire Eclipse TTs by Palomino, and Heritage Glen by Wildwood, (I think). I looked online at the Open Range model you mentioned... Nice trailer. I'll look in person next time I'm by that Camping World on I-35W south of Ft. Worth.

Good luck finding what you're looking for... and... safe travels.

We have one

We own a 308BHS and really like it. We have had ours for a year and a half. It is a dream to pull and being so light we get great MPG with it. The kitchen has so much space in it. We have been looking around and have not found any TT with as much storage and work space as the 308.
As I always say I never really care what I go in as long as I get to go

Looked at the Open Range Lights a few months ago.
Seem to be a well built trailer.
The 5ers looked like they all had goose-neck hitches.

We debated the same two trailers but the deeper slides in the open range and the big window on the door and on the kitchen side are what swayed us and I have no regrets👍🏽 +2 year warranty

When we went to the annual RV show last year we looked at both. Liked the Grand very much. Was turned off of the Open by one spot in the floor that was very spongy. Then we ended up with a '14 Flex by Augusta this year. Lol. Everything that we wanted, 5ver, dual pane windows, 2 slides, bed turned East and West (or is it North and South?) And a few other things that we didn't get in it. But the Big Thing....It's PAID for!!!!
