Options/Standards

I know no questions are dumb on here... but I got a weird one... I am hoping I can ask it clearly on here. The options on a new trailer always have one or two of something you want in several differnt packages... ANYONE know if it's normal to buy all packages or more then one? How much does buying all packages jack up the price of a trailer??? Some things are way important and in a package and something are no so important... can you buy them individually?

Can you buy one thing in this package and a few in another? Does this make sense?

For example... I can get package A which would have :
spare tire cover/carrier
black water flush
Cargo carrier

Package B (not all things listed)
15,000 BTU A/C
Lighted power tongue Jack /w lever
fireplace
sleep tight gel fused memory foam mattress
Aussie Grill

Package C
Entertainment package basically with a bunch of upgrades...

THANKS TONS

That's a tough one.
Some options are factory installed and some are dealer installed.
It will be largely up to the dealer, what they have in inventory and what they can/want to do for you to make a sale.
You could order exactly what you want from the manufacturer if they are willing to do that, but it will take moths to get it and you wont be likely to get a great deal.

The manufacturers usually prefer to deal in packages, rather than individual options ; they say it speeds up production.
Not unusual for a factory order to be a full load, all the packages, as far as a one item order , that's a question for the dealer to answer, as it would vary by manufacturer.

EDIT: and the posting tie ; goes to TDI-Minnie

This forum is awesome!!!... so in a whim I wrote the manufacturer the same thing basically as I did here.... (figured it was gonna take a while to hear back) ....before 12:00 PM I had an email that they would send me more information and the MSRP list of packages.... didn't expect that for sure.
There isn't a local dealer in this area of this model so I was just wondering while surfing the net how this works...now I can't wait to get the info.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!:>)

Good luck...
There are lots of RVfish in the sea and you are starting with a good information gathering process.
Shop around, see what is reasonably local, walk through as many TTs as you can. This will help you realize what you really want and need, floor plans and especially quality. Don't rush and the right trailer will find you.

Customer service update!

Update to the email... by Monday AM 10:00 ish. ..I had the information as promises. It was helpful and informative.Great customer service. I emailed two other VERY popular companies and NOTHING... just as I figured. Great customer service begins from the first contact... we felt comfortable at the RV show ... and now it continues to something as simple as an email.
