We keep a journal and it is hoot to go back and read about the near disasters and such. Include it all and it will bring back memories years later.

Since I'm a professional photographer by trade, a photo journal will be very easy to keep. Every year, I wrap up the year with a photo journal on DVD, since prints are so very easily misslayed(is that a word?). We pop the DVD(Blu-Ray now) and can relive the entire year. Makes is easier to get through the winter...phewwww.

We pulled it off. Our first trip with our Puma 28BHS and nothing notable happened. Had a full hook up site @ Pymatuning State Park. This was an excellent site. Campers really are the friendliest people, our daughter noticed one if her classmates there and we share a fire and fun. Looking forward to Memorial Day weekend and doing it all over.

So fun to read about first timers enjoying camping and seeing why we love it!!
Camping is something we have been enjoying for years and we love it.
A bad day camping is better than a great day working!

My wife two sons (2) and (4) and I are also newbies. Our first real trip is to bantam lake CT. June 8th. But we Re chomping at the bit to go. We may head to lazyriver in newburgh ny. It's only about 45 min away from us, just for a try run. We just picked up our rig last week fro. Petesrv. We are so excited for the summer. Loved your spot. Nice open space not cramed in. I see so many places online where your awning is almost touching the TT next to you... Those campgrounds are not for me. Enjoy your summer and good luck.

Freerider,

I have heard that many State Parks, like this one, are not jam together close. I booked online a moth ago and was very pleased. Most sites let you book six months in advance. Holidays are gone within minutes but most State parks will not over book the CG they will leave some spaces on a 1st come basis.
