We live in Iowa and bought a RV that we stored in Washington State. We were surprised to find out that we had to get Washington state insurance coverage for the trailer. We kept the same insurance company but had to go through a Washington insurance agent.
Something about the insurance rate matching the rates in the policy where the trailer is kept/stored. Sure surprised us but we checked it out and it is what it is!

Ah, but Escapee's does the same thing, where they use their RV park as your mailing address. So it is legit, as long as the park allows it.

My apologies for my slow reply but I've been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.
Thank you to all repliers. The problem is now solved but I'm still wary of the process. Both dealers (Car seller and Van seller) eventually registered the car & TT using the address of the RV Park we were at. That will do me for now (1 bridge at a time).
Not sure of what will happen at renewal time but I'll check if renewal can be done by email/internet.
Thank you again to all those who offered advice.

Kansas isn't known as Kan-tax-us for no reason at all.

Read this blog............ You are nothing different than a full timer I suspect. The info in the blog is good.

Once done, go back to the home page. Lynne's brother has posted that she passed away May 16, 2018 from cancer.

Lynne's blogs are full of good information, both travel, camping, and life in general, plus wonderful nature pics.
