Outdoors RV Creek Side or Timber Ridge?
We are considering purchasing a Creek Side 26RLS or a Timber Ridge 260RLS. As best I can tell they are basically the same TT. Any comments pro or con on these TTs?
We live in the Boise area and are limited to Dennis Dillon or Thompsons in Pendleton area. Any comments on these dlrs?

Do a little research on their website and on-line. The different levels usually mean different materials and quality in build. Wood framed? Aluminum framed? What is the trailer frame rated for? Shocks? Electric tongue jack? LED lights? One of the obvious differences from the picture is the Timber Ridge comes with a fiberglass front cap. VERY important in my opinion. Most brands without one will eventually delaminate on the front cap.
Outdoors RV makes a great product. I have a Wind River. If you dig in you'll find out what makes the difference between the two models you are considering and can determine if that makes a difference to you.

Larv, we own a new Creekside 23RKS and love it. Great quality, Outdoors has been great to work with re questions. Dennis Dillon was alright to work with when we bought our TT, and so far we have had no warranty issues. In our opinion for the money the Creekside is a great value. We bought the Timber Ridge 260RLS. Only been out twice with it and like it quite a bit! Have a few minor warrant items and it's in the shop now.

We bought a 2014 Creekside 23rks. Its a great trailer and as I have said before, after owning several Northwood products this ORV product I feel is a better build. I went with the Creekside because I was looking for less bells and whistles such as power jacks, puck lights, and misc. things added here and there. My goal was to spend less time fixing and more time using. Construction, the Creekside now comes with the fiberglass front cap and same wall construction as the others. Just not the super slick fiberglass walls. Either way you will have made a good choice in choosing an ORV.

Congratulations Larv! I think you will love it and you can get a zillion ideas for mods and answers to questions from the nearly 30 OutdoorsRV owners who contribute to iRV2.
So start those posts coming!!
Did you end up buying from Dillon? We could not come to mutually agreeable terms with them and ended up buying in Lewiston, almost as close to us as Boise.

Yes, we bought at Dillon. Talked a lot to Thompson's in Pendleton and I really liked the Mom and Pop atmosphere there but dillon was a lot closer.

Forgot to mention in my earlier post about the plywood under the mattress being about 6-8" shorter than the mattress. Wifey can't make the bed as there is nothing to tuck the sheets into. I'll probably cut a longer piece of plywood. Larv

We had a similar problem with the sheets staying connected to the mattress. So, we bought a king sized top sheet and had a local seamstress add a "sock" to the bottom end of the sheet. To put the sheet on, the sock portion is slipped over the bottom end of the mattress (the sock is about 18" deep"). The result is that the top sheet always stays tucked in. A neat deal, for us at least.

DW and I have a 2013 Timber Ridge 260 RLS (bought new 6 weeks ago) and it's the best trailer we have ever owned. The thing that impresses me the most is how well these units tow. Our last trailer was a 2012 Dutchmen Kodiak 242RESL (24 feet long and 4800 pounds empty) and our new one is 2 feet longer and 1400 pounds heavier but our truck hauls the new one like there's nothing behind us. It's pretty flat here in Saskatchewan (we can watch our dog run away from home for the first three days) and my truck tows at 100km/hr (62mph) and 1700 rpm. Without the trailer we get the same numbers. We've had some warranty issues but the people at Outdoors Rv are great to work with getting them resolved.

We bought a Creekside 26RLS about three months ago. love it. You're right! I've looked online, and there aren't many differences between the two. I recommend you go to here;
ORV: Compare Models
and compare the two (I may do it just to see. Hhmmm... doesn't tell us much but specs). My 26RLS carries TWO FULL GALLONS MORE water!!! , but that's all I can tell online. It must be finishes, then.

We bought our 26RLS in April, and have done a half dozen campouts with it. I listed my "gripes" , if they can be called that, on the OutdoorsRV gripes thread. One well built trailer and I believe the best bang for the buck. I can't help but smile when I look at it.
