Outdoors Rv - Two Easy Mods

From Lee Valley Tools I purchased a bag of quick connectors 12-Piece Quick-Connect Set - Lee Valley Tools and added them to both my trailer and garden hose. It's now a quick change to go from City water supply to Sani Flush, or Sani Flush to filling the large storage tank (add about a two foot chunk of hose) when needed. Please note that I use foam ear plugs to plug the holes while driving. Second mod was to purchase an Atomic clock La Crosse Technology WT-8005U-S Atomic Digital Wall Clock with Indoor Temperature, Silver: Amazon.ca: Patio, Lawn & Garden. I'm hoping as soon as DW retires that we'll use the clock less and the date/temperature more.

You must have bought them at the right time or they were the last set as they now list them as

This product is no longer available.
But still a nice mod.

So sorry about that. When I purchased mine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan they had lots of stock. I'm in there often so will watch for them again and post it. If they sold that quick the first time they'll likely be offered again in the spring. I suppose a person could go to the garden centres and pick up the similar connectors as they'll be getting rid of their stock.

I am of the thought that water pressure will be greatly reduced. Let us know how well they work. You can find some type of these in almost any garden center like at Lowe's or Home Depot or even Wally land.

It will not decrease the pressure, it will decrease the volume/flow rate.
Remember, all fixtures in a trailer are such low flow you would never notice a difference. Also, most only use one fixture at a time. I am surprised they don't plumb trailers with 3/8" pipe. No one would ever know the difference.

There is an exception, some of us have scrapped those cheap plastic fixtures and have replaced them with quality house hold fixtures that have a little more flow and durability.
