Glad Talen helped you out...here is another campsite option that was posted a few days back. Glad you can make it.

Another campsite at Wallowa
From the ORV folks..another campsite option if the state park is full.
There is another RV park that is around Wallowa Lake that has some spots open for July 31st-August 1st. They are going fast as well tho. It is called the Park by the River. Here is the link

If anyone ends up canceling their plans at the rally please contact Talon at ORV before you cancel it so the suite can go to another ORV owner.

Here is the latest campground site availability from the ORV folks for the 2015 ORV Wallowa "Event" in August.

"There are 3 dry sites available still at the Park on the River if anyone is interested as well. Only one site left for August 1st. "

Sadly the combination of the ORV selection of the campground (Lake Wallowa) and August dates is not encouraging a good turnout and a positive customer "thank you" event...

All,

I have a TENT site, B21, reserved for our daughter at Lake Wallowa arriving July 31 for 3 nights. She cannot not use it so I will be canceling it soon. If any of you want to attend the rally and can make do with this site, PM me and let's see how we can work out a transfer. Maybe I can do it directly with Reserve America.

Who's going to 2015 ORV event/ Campout

Just out of general interest how many folks will be attending this years ORV event? Has any one kept track of the numbers. Not sure of the numbers staying at the private campground.
I know of 5 so far..Idaho Bob, Highway 4x4, Wyatt the not intact Labrador with Steve and Taunie, the Leibelt's...plus me and mrs Coops.

I have a complete and up to date list as of Jan 6. I carefully left it at home when we departed on said date! But I think my list had perhaps 12 attendees (rigs). I'm looking forward to a candid discussion about the 2016 plans with ORV management during the campout.

When DW and I booked a site late last fall our calendar for this summer was completely blank. I remember thinking that we could do the campout and then take our time coming back to Canada and camp NW of Spokane heading north into the Nelson, British Columbia area. Our summer is now filling in and we'll be having a busy summer. So looking forward to putting a face to a name.

We are coming too but are staying at the Park by the River CG. We could not get enough days at the state park as we are staying July 30th to Aug 3rd.

If the dry suites have electricity and you want to come, take it. First look at it on line to make sure there is a possibility of your TT fitting in the spot. We can get you water for your tank and there is a dump station. Then keep checking for a FH spot. What is the date for cancel with full refund, look at the dates before that. There will be cancellations. Make sure Talon has you on his list.
