Thanks all for the great ideas. Unfortunately I bought it in Tucson and am half way back to home in OH. I guess I'll go to my local dealer. As for adjustment the trailer is 5000 lbs dry, probably 6000 or a bit more with stuff. Controller is set at 3 aggressive and 2 and a half power. Gotta have it looked at and taken apart.

It is NOT an adjustment. Any auto garage can do this simple job, no need to drive around with faulty brakes. You will damage more parts and wear the tire needlessly while driving a vehicle that is not roadworthy.
Just so you know, all that needs done is to remove wheel, dust cap and one nut to see the inside.
