Anyone know anything about the Palomino line of travel trailers? Went to an RV show today and saw a 2012 Palomino Gazelle (21 ft.) by Forest River. Have been looking at TT's for a while and this was the first time we had seen this model. Tried to find it on the Forest River website and it wasn't listed. Would appreciate any feedback.

From the Palomino website; "Palomino RV operates as a separate division of Forest River Inc..."
Palomino RV - Manufacturer of Quaility RVs since 1968

We didn't look at them as we didn't care for the floorplans/storage arrangements.

We have a Palomino Thoroughbred 26BHSL and have been very pleased with it. We needed a bunk model. We considered the Gazelle 230 but after seeing the Thoroughbred 26BHSL we realized the addition of the slide out sofa was better suited for us. The Gazelle only had a dinette (though it did have bunks). Ours has bunks, a dinette, sofa slide and walk around bed which was a must. Our prior trailer was a Jayco and the Palomino has so many more features! It also tows much better than the Jayco. It sits lower we think. It's still a lightweight trailer too. We really like our Palomino and would encourage you to consider it. No issues so far though we have only had it since November and camped about 10 nights. It is a Forest River product with only a one year warranty but for $150 you can extend that to two years if you send FR a check within 5-7 days of purchasing a new one. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. We don't need the bunks, so the 230 would probably work for us.

Gusto,
We have a palomino puma 26rlss...love it. The floorplan with rear lounge seats was exactly what we were looking for. Good luck!

We have a 2012 Palamino Puma 30FQSS and we love it. We bought it in Aug. 2011 and used it several times before winterizing. I went over this TT with a fine tooth comb and I am very satisfied with the quality of it. If it is a floorplan that you like I'd say go for it. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. With our tow vehicle (2012 Nissan Frontier) we are limited on weight/length. The 21ft. Gazelle seems to be a comfortable fit and, since we are first-timers, seemed a good size to start with. Just wasn't sure about the manufacturer, so we are glad to hear the good reports.
