Pex and shark bite ?

My tt has pex tubing in it, looks like 1/2" is this the same pex that is used in homes? I am wanting to get some tubing and some shark bite fittings so if I need to make a repair at the campground.

I found my 5er had the pex in it so when I happened to spring a leak I used the sharkbite fitting. It worked perfect and since the water lines are always in the damnedest of places they save a lot of 4 letter words! We now keep a couple of feet of pex and a couple of different connectors in or Tt just in case!

That Qwest pipe takes a thicker dull colored crimp ring. Do not mix the two different crimp rings. They both work well in the appropriate place.
