I am planning to visit the Space Craft and New Horizons plants this next Friday.

Can any of you give me tips on what to look closest at?

What a unit!!! Well, I wasn't looking for such a nice floor, but wouldn't mind having hardwood or tile.

Thanks for sharing.................

Well, I just got back from visiting both New Horizons and SpaceCraft manufacuturing facilities.

Quite interesting in that they both claim "custom" in their adds, but one is not really custom and other is totally custom. I mean custom in that you can start with nothing and design it exactly the way you want...everything! They both use different frame designs with the same wall structure.

One seemed to be much more of "sales" company where the other was only concerned about explaining and showing me what I wanted....which was everything.

One plant said I should plan about an hour and a half for the tour. It ended up being 3 hrs at each factory with a 3 hour drive between them. Made for a long day.

After seeing the quality of both of these companies, it is clear on how much you must spend to get the absolute top quality models that are built to last 10, 15, 20 years or more pulling them thousand of miles per year.

I can now tell the difference in "Ford/Chevy" versus "Cadillac" versus "Lamborghini" of 5th wheels.

Big names and low prices do not get you the best values.......................
