I am going tomorrow to look at this camper for my very first purchase and would like to be able to look up some information about it before I arrive. The owners wife didn't know and he wasn't available. Any info at all would be helpful, I know it is 27 feet long. Thank you , I hope to be a proud new owner tomorrow!

If it is a Holiday Rambler it will have a tag on the side by the door 'HR'

possible it is an HR,but they had certain badge/ emblem going down the side.

I see that all of my post did not make it. If you look on the street side of photo three you will see a small rectangle box, this is the locatation for model, year, axel ratings. You might be able to read it. The title also should have the mfg name. Good luck.

THANK YOU ALL!!! Okay, so I have to tell you the story behind this beast and a small miracle that brought us together.
It is a 1976 Century Supreme according to the VERY worn tag you directed me to...it took a blacklight and better eyes than mine to make out the heavily worn info. Here is the story behind "SYLVIA" ( I named her) and I.

I love to travel. My Gramma ,who took me in and raised me since I was 6, used to take me everywhere. Florida, California, Texas..and we are from Pennsylvania. It was always to keep me intrested and to stray my mind from the fact my Mom who was only 15 when I was born had left me after failing horribly to raise me. These traveling times made the difference that saved me from becoming a much less fortunate and dedicated person. AS I have grown I have not had a lot of things in life, I have lived in poverty and cycles of abuse and neglect. My Gram did everything she could, but she was often ill with COPD and Legionares in her lungs. My Mom was an addict and alcoholic who fought her own problems many years and finally overcame them with 2 years sobriety prior to her death.
Fast forward to college for me, which came only after dropping out of high school and waiting years to get my GED. I am a Philosophy and Professional Ethics major with a minor in Social work and Russian language, and college has been very hard for me financially and emotionally. I have had many successes and achieved many things such as studying abroad in Russia after much hard work and determination to go. Many times I have gone without; the term poor college kid means often a single meal a day and working 2 part time minimum wage jobs around a 5 day a week class schedule.
While all of this seems well enough, I must tell you my passion for travel never died, I spend every weekend I can during the summer camping, music festivals, parks and touring. I have spent many nights in a wet tent, cold hammock or car seat because I will sleep on anything to enjoy the adventure the next day holds.
Life was going quite well, my relationship with my Mom was good after 2 years of her sober and my Gram was well. We had plans to travel together the summer of 2011 camping and seeing sights we missed as a kid. Then on June 6, 2011 she was brutally murdered by an ex boyfriend when he came to her house drunk at 3 am. My entire world felt as if it had stopped and spun off its axis. The trauma led my Gram into the hospital with blood clots on her lungs and school became a forgotten pastime. Only by the grace of God and support of those around me I pulled my self out of the darkness and pushed on, continuing to travel and camp, go to class and try to move on with my life as I awaited the long legal process ahead.
Fast forward to November 2012, when the trials are over, the sentencing has begun and life has started to heal. I had been checking out campers and 5th wheels online for a while, going to see about 5 or 6 all over the state and being blown away at the low quality or high costs and really giving up on the idea of having a camper anytime in the next 5 years. To me a camper was a type of freedom, to go where ever, to be self sustained and ready for the adventure to call. It meant I could have a new life, without the burden of where will I sleep, what if I don't like an area, how will I make it on my own?....To me, a camper could answer those questions.

Hi, I too am a new member at this site. And, I too have been through tough times and troubles in my life. I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that on this Thanksgiving Eve that I want you to be thankful for the good times in you life and not let the bad drag you down. Camping is one of the things I love to do and to keep doing it I have to not fall down into the abiss but, I must instead keep woking hard to keep my head up and move on through the tough times. I'v been through enough tough times to know that there will be better days. Good luck with your camper and I hope you have many happy days with it. But,,, be prepaird, just like everything else in life there will be times where it's a challange. Don't let it get you down. Have a nice Day, Caveman
