some photos of our camping trailer
Some photos of our camping trailer and truck taken on Hokaido during the spring trip. Photos can also be seen at my FB page ken morgan in the family trip to hokaido and noboribetsu pages.
solar panels worked well did not need the genset at all fridges, microwave etc. all ran fine from the upgraded eletrical/solar system install and batteries stayed well charged, only dipped to 60% SOC once after three rainy days but system recovered to full charge/float by 1130 on the forth day with a slight overcast.
cheers

Yes this on the northern island of Hokaido. Its about 800 miles north of where i live at yokosuka. its really very scenic and other than around the major cities it is sparsly populated so it makes for great camping especially in the off season like May or June, July is the start of the busy season for camping and traeling to Hokaido, so i took us up about 3 weeks prior to the rush of tourists.

Its a stupid leftover law from the 50's.... I found this out after researching on my local base in an attempt to get a CDL for that purpose here in japan.
