I don't know about Moab, but on our trip north, the worst bugs we encountered were around Salmon Glacier above Hyder/Stewart. Further north the nights were getting chilly and by the time we were around Whitehorse it had been below zero at night. That meant stunning colours and no bugs - also mushy berries unfortunately. We are berry pickers....

We did use the furnace at night (-8C at Dawson) although the thing sounds like a jet engine when it turns on! I am going to look at some kind of quieter heater. I thought perhaps one of the ventless ones but I have to think about this. I don't much like the idea of using a heater without outside venting.

I will post some pix later - perhaps in a new thread.

Gary

Wow! Talk about culture shock. I'm sure you guys are still adjusting to the difference. It's a beautiful TT, what are you towing it with?

Towing it with a 2012 ram 1500, all the numbers seem to match up, but seems like a lot of trailer for that truck

I'm towing a 299BH with my 1500 5.7 with a 3.55 rear end, and sometimes feel like it's a little too big. Your trailer is even larger so I can imagine how it feels. Even though I'm within all the weight specs, I still take it slow and easy. are you using a weight distributing hitch?

Caveman, I have posted a few pix on the 'Boondocking to the Yukon' thread. But see www.yukonsights.ca website. She has a ton of excellent pix there.
