I like the Husky hitch so far, but I haven't traveled very far with it packed. I towed it home from Vermont to Massachusetts (5 hours), but that was straight from the dealership. I'll know better when we go to Virginia in April. The only thing I found is that when I have to jack up the trailer very high to attach the bars, the fuse on the power tongue jack blows and I have to replace it. Oh, and I may try to turn the shank around to better level the TV when hooked up. Right now the rear end sags a little. I will raise the brackets as well to see if that helps. I was looking into the Hensley arrow as well.

Bringing out this weekend to prep.
Put battery back in last weekend. Installed side lights at rear sides down low to help when backing in after dark. Pulling out next weekend to flush lines out and get er ready. we moved up to this one last Sept from a 2012 Layton Joey as we wanted something bigger for longer road trips and able to use in retirement. Has W/D hookup in front bedroom which a lot of TT's don't have. 3 slides make for lots of room. We've got lots of camp outs already booked for this year and itching to hit the road. I need to get some better photos when we get out.

Out of storage and getting ready to go. Local city operated rv park in St. Peters, MO. NO shade but close and full hookups with year round water. Back out to Babler State Park in a couple of weeks to get this season started!!

It's big, it's old, it's an overworked vessel that's always on the verge of flying apart at the seams, but it's mine. Survived a tornado and a huge oak falling on it, (destroying the rock guard and roof vents, hence ceiling fans, and the front security lights) it's the Behemoth. 1995 Sportsmen's Seville. You wouldn't expect the inside from looking at it on the outside. After a panel fire and the tree before that, I decided to avoid the higher price of replacing RV appliances (hated defrosting the reefer and I'm fearful of propane) and completely gutted much of the girly pink and frilly interior and remodeled it with new floors, light fixtures, a smart home system, in built electric heaters, wifi smart bulbs, automated outside security lights, new circuit breakers, larger gauge indoor wiring, etc. Spared no expense.

We just completed our first winter in our Kodiak 279RBSL. We'll be doing several interior modifications over the summer to make it more comfortable and are already looking forward to next winter.
