The first thing I HAD to do, was address that huge King-size bed.

I bought the RV because it had the biggest bathroom\shower I had ever seen in an RV. (How can the smallest model have the biggest shower?) But sleeping in that huge bed the first night just seemed wrong.

So a screw gun and 15 minutes later I had a dance floor (phrase was coined by another fella with the same model) and a nice Full-size regular bed. (Better mattress to boot!)

Now I added a reading room to my little tiny house.

Neighbors were pretty good about it. It is moved to storage lot now so don't have to worry about that anymore.

We did. Van is a 2500 w/ heavy duty tow package and chassis/brakes-wise it did a decent job. A WD hitch and a decent brake control helped. Things were very steady, comfortable, and predictable. The problem came from the engine/transmission package; even w/ a 4:10 rear end, the four-speed transmission w/o Tow/Haul didn't cut it. I was careful to plan our travel to stay out of the worst of the elevation changes. I kept the speed down, stayed out of the way, and most of the time we comfortably rolled along at 60 or 65. Never had any problems w/ engine or transmission temperatures but we did spend an extra 24 hours waiting for headwinds to die out.

That van has a new home now and its towing life will reportedly be limited to dragging the new owner's Harley out to Sturgis.

Looking for a place to buy

I would appreciate knowing a good place to buy, and from whom.

Having some input on good durable TT's would be nice, as well

I live in Fla, but will travel.....not sold on being near a dealer, as an advantage. I will do my own repairs.

Looking at new, or like new.....not much diff in price, as I see it

Thanks to all

My rig when it was new, one year ago. Not much has changed except I've worn a bit of the tread off the tires. Still as nice as the day I picked it up, only I've lived in it for a year, and it's been so much fun!
