Smile Power wash

Is it safe to power wash your camper. I'm just wondering if power washing would do a better job. I leave my camper in Florida all summer and the trees really do a number on my roof. Any suggestions would help, thanks. nancy

Does it have a rubber or fiberglass roof?

I don't use a pressure washer anywhere on a trailer, there is too much of a chance of pushing water under gaskets and caulking. I use a cleaner made for the purpose with a long handled brush. Cheap dollar store spray cleaner with bleach will brighten dark spots.

Yes you can but you should not get to aggressive with it, a good cleaner and a soft brush is better. I use oil eater degreaser diluted in the wash bucket and a spray of full strength on problem spots and bugs. On the roof, a good inspection of the seals and caulk lines is also advised everytime you are up there.

You really should not use the power of the water to clean your rig. The possibility of creating leaks does not make it worth it. I use a power washer but only to rinse and not to blast off dirt. It also has a soaping function that I like. I still use a brush to scrub off the dirt.

The power washer does a better job than a hose and uses less water.

I pay a wash service to clean and wax rig two times a year. Would never allow anyone to come close with a power washer. If you clean and wax on a regular basis getting build up off is a non issue. If rig has been left for years and has a big buildup pay professionals to clean it. They know what works for your area but do not let them use a power washer.

Power wash

I have recently started using a foam canon on the power washer.

DUSICHIN SFL-001 Pressure Washer Jet Wash 1/4" Quick Release Adjustable Snow Foam Lance, Foam Cannon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WPKHFA6..._EtrHybSWM9PVZ

The device applies thick foam (RV soap of your choice) coating on the trailer that I let sit for a few min to soften up the dirt before using the soft bristled brush. I then rinse with the power washer.

Best method for washing I have found so far.

I would not recommend using it in the roof or awning.

I use RV soap and a soft bristled brush on the roof 2x yr.
