Protecting TT batteries from theft

I have two six volt batteries on the trailer and I would like to know of any anti-theft setups being used out there.
Many, many years a go when I had a tent trailer, I bought a lockable hasp setup that secured the battery to the trailer frame. I have looked on line & at RV stores with no success does anyone know where they might be found?

If you have room, get one of those plastic battery boxes and bolt it in place, A hardware store should have some kind of hasp you could screw to it. Or...get a dog.

I went to a auto parts store and bought 10 ft of chain and a case hardened pad lock.

Ps. The chain does not attach to the battery posts!

I have two battery boxes, the problem with bolting the boxes to the frame is the batteries will be setting on the bolts, not sure if that will be good for the batteries.
I have a dog, she would hold the flashlight for the thief, if she woke up.

Put down a thin piece of plywood or truck flap like material.

No the chain does not, but it goes nicely around the tops of the plastic battery box's that the batteries are in. and around the frame . a thief would have a hard time tring to remove the batteries. A hasp on the plastic box's would not do very well a thief with a screw driver could pop the hasp right out of the plastic. I find the chain works really well and does not cost a bundle.

The box's came with straps. no need to bolt them down as they fit where the batteries set without the case's, the weight of the batteries will keep them in place. the straps are to hold the covers on. with the chain around the battery box's and frame, they are secured. My batteries set on the tongue of the trailer behind the propane tanks.

Found a bracket set up similar to the one I had but this one does not appear to tighten or clamp down on the battery box, going to call the company to see if how it works.

What size chain? How are you able to get the chain tight enough around the battery box & frame to keep the chain from being pried loose?
