My '89 31' Prowler is on a farm near Jamestown, Cal. I let my brother live in it in Calif. while he had cancer, and he had it in a pen full of animals. Well, they tore off the aluminum sheeting on the front, etc. It has been sitting there since 2003, when he passed away. It's dirty and dusty inside, in addition to the physical damage. Anyone know of a good repair shop in the area...or is it even worth trying to salvage?
Thanks.

dale662, I have been here for more than 10 years and I am amazed that there's always something new coming around the bend when you least expect it.
Depending and I say depending on how badly you want to get that trailer on the road I would say you're going to need a thorough workover, inspection and it would appear re-skinning the RV. Tires would also be another thing to look at as well as brakes, the water, holding tanks, electrical and LP systems.
I would be reluctant to invest a lot of money in restoring the trailer.

Using your description, and my imagination, Part it out, sell it or strip it and turn it into a utility hauling trailer.

Yeah, I sort of thought that was going to be the response. Thanks to both of you. I have no regrets about it: I bought it to work in San Jose instead of rent a studio apt. ($1200/mo. at the time), and lived in it for a year. Then my brother was able to be warm in it until he passed, instead of being here in frosty Minnesota.
