TV audio output through overhead speakers (AWM968)

I just did this on my Minnie 2401RG. Winnebago installed a standard 3-line AV cable between the TV and the AWM968. The yellow video cable connects the video output of the AWM968 to the television. The red and white right/left audio cables connect the TV audio out to the aux input on the AWM968.

If the TV is configured properly, the TV audio will feed AUX 1.

I also ran an audio cable from the audio output RCA jacks on the back of the AWM968 out to the TV along with the factory installed cable. I'm using this cable to connect a pair of wireless headphones to the TV and DVD player.

The instructions in post 14 work, but they must be followed in sequence. If the TV speakers are not turned of first, the option to change audio output to fixed is not available. If the TV speakers are subsequently turned back on the audio output will be changed to variable and the outputs to the AWM968 will not work untilthe TV speakers and audio output are changed back.

I'm sure glad it worked for someone besides me. I'll bet you like the sound quality a lot better.
