Pulsating 12 volt lights

ok so when I hook up my honda eu1000i to my small travel trailer (110 side) the 12 volt lights pulsate...why?

Are your trailer batteries in good working order? With most 12 volt DC converters the batteries work as a filter to smooth off the rectified AC coming from any source, gen or land AC. If the batteries are charged and in good shape then you should see very little to no flicker unless an item is turned on/off i.e. water pump.

Well, I went and plugged a 150 watt bulb into gen...it flickered...and the gen was spuddering...cleaned the plug,dumped out the old gas and put in fresh gas with lucas carb cleaner...ran for an hour and it straighten right out...plugged the trailer into gen and all is fine now...thanx for the reply
