You probably wouldn't go wrong with either the Puma or the Spree. My wife and I were looking at both last winter and ordered the 2011 Puma 25RKSS. We liked the layout in the Puma better and the Puma is priced a little bit lower than the Equivalrnt Spree without sacrificing build quality.
The Puma line is more basic with a longer list of optyons which allow you to more personally customize the unit to your needs and tastes.
We are extremely happy with our new TT and only regret not ordering yhe mattress upgrade (we replaced the mattress after our first trip).
Puma seems to be real well built, have not seen the spree but a freind does have a Puma and they go hunting with us and they seem to very satisified. They bought it on ebay, you might check there.
We also have an 08 Puma. What sold us on it was the boards under the dinning seat were 7 layer plywood. Another brand we were looking at had glued wafer board.
We've had our trailer just under three years, and have spent close to a year total traveling about 30,000 miles. Unless we win the lottery, I expect this trailer to last us until we get too old to travel.
I owned a 2004 KZ Frontier 2505 and cannot say enough good things about KZ's quality. I would still have the camper if I had not changed two vehicles! I've also read other postings about how much folks love their sprees.
If you looking at bank for the buck you can't beat the Puma. We are on # 3 and have had great luck. The Puma is well finished and seems to stand up well. Each Puma that we have owned has been turned over to our kids and their kids. They are like a Timex watch. They take a licking and keep on ticking. Our last unit was used to tour the USA and CANADA for a full year and did not have any wear and tear on it. The good thing was that we both left after having chemo and other cancer treatment and returned home with our health back and HAIR. My hair fell out, but my beard stayed. I looked like a member of the Hell's Angels. Appreciate Your Health, LifeIS GREAT
We have a 2010 sportman 32'. We have used it all summer to live in and traveled almost every weekend somewhere. We have not had any problems with it at all.
