Putting Ladder on TT

Can anyone tell me if a ladder can be installed on a 2015 Coachman Freedom Express 322 RDL. This is my first travel trailer and need a way to check top of slides for debris before retracting without have to carry a ladder. Thanks

My Forest River Salem has a ladder that i didn't care if it came that way. Salesman (ya i know) said the roof is better if it came with a ladder. Don't know. All the freedom trailers i looked at did not have a ladder. Call this # 1 800 353-7383 They should be able to answer your question.

It's best to check with the manufacturer to see if a ladder can be added to the unit. On some trailers, they don't put the blocking for attaching a ladder unless the trailer has been ordered with a ladder. That was the case when I wanted to add a ladder to my old Sunline trailer. But, when I wanted to add one to our 2014 Winnebago 2201 DS, it wasn't a problem, and it was cheaper to go to the factory and have them install it rather than trying to order one and do it myself as shipping costs on a ladder isn't cheap.

My first thought is that you need to add a slide topper. ALL slides will leak. The topper will prevent most and will keep the leaves off. The last thing I want to do is to get up on a ladder each time I need to retract the slide when I've been close to trees. They should come standard but unfortunately only higher priced units are shipped that way.
