Quebec

We're heading to Quebec for a few weeks this summer with the two big stops being Jacques Cartier National Park and Mont Tremblant National Park.

What are the "must sees" in those areas?

For the mountain bikers and road cyclists out there, are there and "must do's"?

Good luck with camping spots anywhere near Quebec City (book ahead if you know your dates).

If you have the option the smaller the car / truck you take into OLD Quebec City the better. Parking is a bitch.

Having said all that OMG .... spend at least the day walking about - you will see in attached pic's we brought our F150 SCREW - YIKS had to park well away (on the water) and walk and walk and walk .... then walk some more. It is often HOT and HUMID so bring water or stop for a beer.

Have fun ... we always stop as there is always something to see. (been 10 times at least).

SHOULD MOVE THIS TO CAMPING LOCATIONS .... WOULD GET MORE APPROPRIATE VIEWS.

We've been to QC many times and always enjoy the trip. My question was more about the two national parks.

We already have the campsites booked !!

We spent a week in Bromont last summer touring the eastern townships. The Bromont area has a good network of biking trails around the ski area.

There is also a large equestrian centre that was used for the Montreal Olympics.

Quebec is a great old city, but not built for larger vehicles.
