Question for passport 2670 BH owners in florida

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2016 Keystone passport 2670BH grand touring. If you live in or bought yours in the central Florida area what was your out the door price you paid? I have been quoted $24,750.00 out the door and that is including a weight distribution hitch. And another dealer quoted about $150.00 more than that out the door with a wdh included. Are those quotes about right or can I do better? What say you?

This price looks reasonable, nothing is cheap in Central/South Florida. It is far from Indiana, long way to transport the trailer and competition is much less here. I've just got my '16 2670, but I traded my old Passport in

? for passport owners

RGene, thanks for the reply. If you don't mind can I ask what dealership you purchased your coach at? Good/bad experiences with them (the purchase, the delivery, warranty work etc.) I am just trying to get my ducks in a row before making the purchase.
Thanks,
Billy

I bought my new Passport from Palm Beach RV and the first one was from them as well. The dealer helped me to solve a few warranty problems without difficulties. I think my dealer is quite good. However, thy don't update their website too often, so call them to check what is in stock

The quote of $24,750.00 was an out the door price with the wdh included plus alloy wheels and a $100.00 store credit to purchase items from their "rv/camping accessory store. (like camping world only smaller,). And this would be with me having to drive to Jacksonville from the Tampa area to pick it up. Well I contacted him again and gave him a counter offer of $24,400.00 otd including the extras listed above, with me picking it up in Jacksonville or the $24,750.00 otd with the extras and they deliver it to their dealership here in the Tampa area and I pick it up here. Well he got back with me the next day and said they would do the $24,400.00 deal and I go to Jacksonville to pick it up. Looks like the wife and I are going on a little road trip. (About 200 miles+/- one way) I am satisfied with that deal. That was the best deal out of the 3 dealers I spoke to. Now we are just waiting to find out when it is going to arrive in Jacksonville. Salesman told me it may be a coach that they have on their Ohio lot or one that they are waiting on from the factory in Indiana, so I hope that doesn't take to long. I will post updates.

Well it looks like we are getting the unit that was at their Ohio dealership. We will be getting up early in the morning to make the trip to Jacksonville to do the paper work and bring it home. I certainly hope all goes well. Supposed to be rainy weather tomorrow that should make for a fun trip. I will post back on how everything turns out.

one thing to keep in mind is that any service or warranty work will require you to go 200 miles to get it done. unless you can find someone in your local area that can do it and the manufacturer will allow.

what I forgot to mention was that when I bought my TT it required numerous trips to fix a number of things and I only had to travel 50 miles each way and that was a pain......

This particular dealership has location about 30 miles from me that I will be getting service/warranty work done at, so I will not have to travel 200 miles to get work done on it. I tried to negotiate to have them deliver it to their local dealership but they didn't want to go that way.

Thumbs up 2670bh

Well we finally got our travel trailer on Wednesday 11/25/15. Our trip to Jacksonville last Saturday was for not, about 5 mins. away from the dealership at 9:45am I got a call from them stating the coach was not ready. The person says stop and get Breakfast, it will be ready at 11:30 am. 5 minutes into breakfast the same person calls and says there has been a mix up, your coach is still in Ohio. Well to say the least I was P.O.ed and ready to give my Business to someone else, the guy says let me try to make it right. So we go talk to him and he is willing to give us another $788.00 off of the quoted price and $300.00 store credit to use in their store for camping supplies and they would deliver the travel trailer to our house by Wednesday 11/25/15. We agreed to that offer and used the $300.00 credit in their store that day and the unit was delivered on 11/25/15 as promised. Once it was delivered to our house we inspected it and found all was good we went to their local location to get the wdt installed and finalized the paper work. I say all in all they did a great job to keep our business and I think we got a great deal in the end for a 2016 passport 2670bh travel trailer. Loving it so far, checking everything out and adding things that we got with the store credit they gave us.

Niiice! Congratulations!
I've already waterproofed edges of the counter tops and the outdoor kitchen, bought compact Napoleon grill; true kitchen exhaust was installed by the dealer. Receiver for bike carrier will follow. Ready to go to the Jonathan Dickinson next week.

Did your 2670 bh come with a bunk ladder for the upper bunk? Salesman says the Ultra lite does not come with a bunk ladder. I climbed up in the top bunk to close the window blind and dang near didn't make it up there.

Looking at the pic you posted I noticed how your hitched set up looks. It appears to me that you need to redo a few things. Your truck is sagging, yet your trailer is nose high. Both vehicles should be closer to level. Your current setup isnt extremely bad, but could be alot better. If it were me, I would take the truck and trailer to the shop that installed your WD and have them redo it.
