Question on weight distribution bars

The explain it the best I can, the chain on the left bar has to be at least one link longer than the chain on the right bar to get roughly the same tension. In other word, I use 8 links on the left bar and 7 links on the right bar to get the same tension pull the bars up and set them in place. Logic tells me they should be the same length. Whats the fix?

Are you sitting level when you hook up? Check the distance from the ball back to both hooks. Other than the 1 inch difference in the number of lengths I feel you have no problem

Which bar do you cinch up first? 2nd bar won't feel as though it has as much tension, because 1st bar is already supporting part of the load.

If you raise the TV with the trailer Jack by a few inches above no load height, the WD bars should cinch evenly.

Agree. When you get your ball set to your TV raise the jack so the hitch and TV are raised. Then hook your bars up. Should make the same links equal when you jack down
