Question Question regarding cracks in Entrance Door 2010 Holiday Rambler Savoy LX

I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced tiny cracks on the inside of your entrance door in the fiberglass. We have a 2010 Holiday Rambler Savoy LX travel trailer and just noticed lots of tiny cracks on the inside of the door generating from the window outward. We have been campers for the last 45 plus years and have never had that happen before. The door has never been left open for weather to have been a factor. We are afraid if we replace it, which is very costly, is it going to happen again. Does anyone have an insight as to what has happened or does anyone know of any problems that Holiday has had with their doors? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to iRV2! I'm sorry but I am not familiar with that problem, but hopefully someone else will know. Are the cracks mostly superficial (cosmetic) or do they cause an issue with the integrity of the door?

I do seem to recall someone having a similar porblem. It was on a newer trailer and they complained to the dealer and the company paid to get it fixed. But, the trailer was under warranty.

Tiny Cracks in Door

In regards to the cracks in our entrance door - they are only superficial and not structural cracks. The warranty on our unit was up approx. 9 months ago, so I'm sure Holiday Rambler won't replace it. I just have a hard time understanding what happened and why it cracked in the first place. My husband is going to try to use like an epoxy to fill in the cracks and then repaint it rather than purchasing a new door. If anyone has any other suggestions - please leave us know.

Thanks for the response.
