Rain Gutter repair??
We bought a Coachman Freedom Express last year. Among a long list of issues with the camper, the latest is the rain gutter on the front with the awning attached was incorrectly applied and it leaks big time. We have had the trailer in three times and have not been happy with any of the adjustments. This last time, one of the items to be repaired was the rain gutter misalignment. As you can see in the picture, it is not aligned and you can see daylight up through the awning. The Service Dept, just put a bead of silicone on the top, and guess what????? It still leaks. Has anyone ever removed the rain gutter and reapplied it? Not one of the items we have taken the camper in for repairs has been done correctly and I don't believe they will complete this one either. They were supposed to come and fix it at our house, but they have not shown. I think we are going to be better off fixing it ourself.
Any suggestions?????

I had a similar problem and ended up going to Lowes and buying some flexible drip molding about 1 inch wide. It has a straight edge that fit along top of the drip rail on the unit. I used marine gasket seal to install and my problem was solved. Water now comes over and down the awning. Could not see the pic you said was there but hope this helps

I thought I uploaded a picture, but I guess not. I tried to upload to the Gallery and my images are too large. I guess this site doesn't compress images upon upload. I will try something different to upload the photo.

Checked the pics out. Looks like the gutter rail is separated and bent in several places. I do not know the age of your unit but if it is around 10 years you may need to look at replacing the gutter rail. You could do this with help but I would advise getting estimates on it.

Misalignment isn't a huge issue. I bet they didn't remove the awning cause they are lazy.
If they are going to do it right, remove the awning, remove all the trim, clean and reputty it, screw it back down and DON'T silicone it.

The trailer is 2012. We bought it in November. We discovered the leak the first time we used it in the rain the first of July.

Remove the awning and anything in the track, and then remove the vinyl insert covering the screws. The unscrew all screws, easily remove, and reseal and reinstall.
The picture I saw didn't show any daylight, just gap at the bottom of the trim.
