Recommend an electric tongue jack

May get one mostly 'cause they are cool. Recommend a brand/model, please. Light (4K) short (21 overall) trailer.

I got a Ram Jack off Amazon.
It is nicely priced and has worked perfectly.

Thanks all. Yowzers, $99 vs $260. Gotta do more research.

Many will claim "you get what you pay for" but the reviews on Amazon speak for themselves. I'm very happy with mine and on a lightweight trailer like yours it will be under very little stress so should last the life of the trailer.

Unless they have improved in recent years I would avoid LCI (Lippert) tongues jacks. I had bought a new TT with one of these and it was lightly used. It didn't last 2 years. Thankfully I had a the 2 year warranty with Forest River and it was replaced.

Got this from Amazon. Had one on my first TT and was greatly satisfied, so I bought one for my new trailer.

I put a Barker 3500VIP on our 2007 Surveyor shortly after we bought it new. In 2014 when the trailer was totaled during a storm the barker was still working and just as strong as when new. I still have my Barker jack, and when the Lippart jack that came on our new trailer fails, which sounds like it could be any day, The Barker will go back in service after a good cleaning and lube. Barker will be my go brand for power jacks.

Harbor Frieght, $129. TT tongue weight #800. Works flawlessly. My second one of these, first one was going strong at 10 years.

Any power tongue jack will be better than hand cranking. You will never go back.
