Well I just got through installing reflectix insulation in all the windows except the back and the front one which already has a flip down Dutchmen cover so I am thinking leave it like it is but I did cut one just in case .
So now we will see how much of a difference it make as we have another 104 degree day coming up tomorrow here in Missouri I am in full sun from about 2 pm till about 6 and it was 88 inside the trailer this afternoon.

As others have said, do not use the insulating material on dual pane windows. We do use it on the windshield on our Trek, and the difference is significant. However, I don't recommend using velcro strip with self adhesive; the heat between the windshield and Aluminized insulating material melted the adhesive, and it literally ran down the glass and rubber edge. The adhesive is very difficult to remove after it has cooled, and I now just use little 1 inch square velco pads to hold the material in place.
We use the thick foam "stuffers" in the roof vents, and Aluminized material under the shower skylight.

Well to anyone contemplating use Reflectix in the window it has made about a 10 degree difference in the temp so it defiantly works .

Did you cover your shower skylight and the roof vents/fans with it? If not you'll see even more improvement.

so this is the stuff you are talking about ?
4 ft. x 125 ft. Radiant Barrier-RB48125 at The Home Depot
Not very attractive and positive the DW will not let me add it where it's visible by anyone  maybe the roof vents only

That self stick glue doesn't hold up in the AZ heat. I had to use Shoe-Goo after removing the original glue with acetone. So far, it's held up to 114°.

What about something like a reflective paint on top the ac units and roof vents ?
Radiant Barrier Foil vs Spray On Coatings & Paints
pretty sure we wouldn't want to paint the rubber roof, correct ?

Yes, Shoe-Goo can be pealed off later, but stands up to the heat. Besides that, I'm only holding on six ~1" Velcro strips on both the door frame and reflective bubble shield.

Our door window has a frame - the insulation is tight-fit into the opening.
Top to bottom on the windshield. One BIG piece.
Side window held in place by shades
1" styrofoam in shower skylight fit in snug. Holds itself.
Used 1/2" styrofoam in the old RV. Cut to fit and it worked good also. Put the clean (no writing) side in.

Has anyone used Reflectix foil backed insulation for a windshield sun shade on the OUTSIDE of wind screen? (Like a Magna shade attaches)
