BiggJim- are you sure the vent is behind the fridge and not over the stove? Mine has the vent over the stove and you need it open to cook or boil water. I don't have that for my fridge and use propane on trips to keep it cold.

Now that I think about it I do believe you are correct. For some reason I had thought the tech at the dealer had said something about the fridge. It must be the vent for the exhaust fan over the stove. Silly me ! Thanks
