Refrigerator drain hose suspect leak

Has anyone come up with a way to test for leak due to disconnect or brittle/cracked hose..i was thinking of pouring a cup of water in condensation tray inside frig.to see if water came out outside drain. Do not want to slide frig. Forward if possible to replace hose. Not sure if i will disrupt any other connections in the process. Any comments are appreciated..

Replaced the hose on my Dometic refer last year.....

Pouring a cup (or less) would work. Take the outside louvred panel(s) off and look for water that’s NOT coming out of the hose.

If the hose is disconnected or cracked, replacing it without pushing the refer in to get some working room would be very difficult. Only had to move mine about 6-8 inches as I recall.

I also had to replace the drain hose (part #2932749159) in our Dometic RM-2554 refrigerator.
Not the easiest task.....I did NOT have to remove the refrigerator. I was able to wiggle my hand up (make sure the fridge is off and cool) the right side (as I looking at it from the outside), remove the putty that is used to seal around the end of the hose, and pull it out. Push the new hose onto the plastic drain plug.
The hose was routed through the refrigerator's inner absorber coil and secured with plastic wire ties, but I just routed the new hose as best I could.
All in all, about a half hour job as long as you can get up to where it connects to the plastic outlet. Don't forget to reuse the putty around where the hose fits onto the plastic drain plug.
There are a couple of youtube videos, but they were not very helpful in my situation.
Good luck!!
