rehanging cellular shades

I removed my cellular shades and valances to reupholster the valances. The valances must be screwed back into the bottom of the hanging cabinets above them before putting the shades back up.

The blinds are held in place by metal fasteners that are top mounted under the valance

There is no room to rescrew them once the blinds are in them so it must be done after the valances have been re mounted.

I have turned my body into a human pretzel and still cannot re snap the shades into the fasteners. Is it doable?

If they are like my MCD shades the clips get screwed in place then the shade is pushed up into the clip. I use a old wooden yard stick to push up on one side of the clip to expand the opening then push up on the shade starting at one end end of the clip then the center one then the other end.

Thanks. I think I need another pair of hands. I cannot even see the clips unless I practically curl up in the bathroom sink.

You can just see the clip at the bottom of the picture to your right of the flashlight beam, again mine may be different from yours
