Remote for slides, awning etc.

I have a 2010 Keystone Sprinter that has a remote for operation of the slide-outs, awning and stabilizer jacks.
It worked for the first 2 or 3 years, but doesn't work any more.

The remote has new batteries and the light that indicates that it is transmitting flashes as it always does.

I am not sure where the "receiver" is so that I can check it and I don't know if it is battery powered and might need new batteries.

Any help sorting this out will be appreciated.

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems .

Question . Your remote isn't working ; can the items the remote is set to operate , work from their manual controls? Or is all operation shut down.

There are wall switches for all of the functions (awning, slides, stabilizer jacks) and the wall switches all work with no problems - it is just the remote control. The transmitter seems to be working (the little light blinks like it did when the whole system worked.

I had the same thing happen on a new 5th wheel. The control board was on the wall in the front storage compartment, right under the bed. This board was coated/encased in black plastic with wiring connections protruding from it. You could see where the plastic had gotten hot, and the heavy gauge wiring was discolored. After 4 warranty fixes and still no solution, I traded it while it was still working to the selling/servicing dealership.
The thought of a fire starting directly under the bed didn't allow us to enjoy the experience any more.
