RLS trailer what to do about the chairs

Our trailer came with linoleum floor under the rocker chairs in the rear
Problem is you need to slide them around sideways for storage when travelling
The rubber feet on the chairs want to dig into the linoleum or catch on the floor register so pulling the chairs forward and turning and sliding back is a pain in the ......
Has anyone else had this issue and come up with a good solution?
I have tried the magic slides on the feet but the registry catches it and slides it off the chair foot
These are 5 legged rocker chairs
I have seen some trailers have carpet all the way across under the chairs
Is that the fix?

Thanks
RRII

We just got our Grey Wolf 26RL and have the same situation, except there are no floor vents, the heat is ducted thru the walls, ( a selling point ). I put self adhesive felt pads on the feet to help them slide when we have to bring the slide in to tavel. It's still a pain, but love the rear living !!!!
