Rockwood Signature Ulta Lite 8311ss

We have narrowed down our choices. We love the layout but haven't found any reviews about it. Does anyone know anything about this one? Good or bad.

I really wanted the 8311, wife wanted the 8312. So, no can't help you out. I will say that I really like the 12. Pulls nice, layout fits our needs well. Roomy enough that the kids don't drive us crazy on a rainy day. A few really small items for warranty that we will get fixed once the season is over.

Don't have one, but recently spent a month in one on a jobsite. Can't help you on how it would work for a family, but reasonable amount of room for a single guy. Used the bunk area for storage. My only complaint? was lack of wall switches for the overhead lights. I did have a problem with tripping the 30amp breaker using the AC and other appliances. I was in W. TX in Aug--had to have the AC, and it struggled to keep the trailer cool during the afternoon. Once the sun went down, all was ok. If I had a family, and was going to camp in real heat, this AC won't do it for one guy, let alone if you fill the trailer with kids and a hubby. Others in the park were in FEMA trailers and the ACs worked fine for them.
Wish I could help you more.

Congrats. One thing that will be apparent is the need for a second A/C and 50 amp service if you camp in hot areas in the south. 30' and a well insulated RV is the limit for one A/C unit in Texas and still enjoy the RV.
