If there is any product that I desire with superior quality, I will buy it, regardless of where it's made; if the quality is inferior, I will not buy it. However, when the President or CEO of a large corporation so blatently admits he moved to better his bottom line, I would wonder about the quality of his education! The way to convience the world to purchase your product is to provide quality and value, not continually drive down quality.
The views here expressed are mine, only mine!

Something to consider -

In informal surveys on the Dodge/Cummins forums, the Mexican-built Dodge Rams consistently score higher on assembly quality than the St. Louis-built Rams.

I can't see quality being an issue with the RV manufacturing industry. I don't think it exist.

Don't see it really being a quality problem, if you look at most Silverado's are made there also.

My VW Jetta is made in Mexico and it has been a good car At least the fuel tank door doesn't have a sticker that says "fried rice only"

At $4 an hour in Mexico, it's no wonder so many Mexicans come to the USA for work. We pay decent wages.

My 2002 Silverado 2500HD is the biggest pile of crap I probably have ever owned, so if my truck is any indication of what's to come Fleetwood is in for a REAL rough time...

After moving operations to Mexico for cost cutting the buyer never sees the savings. It is just a way to boost their profit margine and the consumer gets stuck with inferior product same high price.

Mexican-built does NOT necessarily equal inferior. The Mexican-built Dodge Rams, as I said, consistently rank higher in assembly quality than the St. Louis-built Rams.
