Rv roof top a/c unit thermostat conversion

I have a Jayco 26fbs the a/c controls are on the ceiling attached to the unit and the fan runs all the time once you turn the unit on you can hear the compressor kick in & out as the set temp is met. Is there a way to convert this type of unit to a wall mount thermostat or other thermostat control where the fan and unit shuts off once the desired temp is achieved

Yes. There are a few wireless units out there, but they need to match the roof unit too.

You will have to run wiring, get a new t-stat and matching control board, and a new air distribution box.

That sounds like more than a small project

Not really hard, just time consuming. But that's what it takes.
