I'm a new member and thought I'd say hello! I found the forum trying to resolve an issue with the 12 volt converter in my 99 HR. Using prior posts I was able to confirm that the converter was dead and needed to be replaced. I now have a new IOTA DLS-55 55 Amp Power Converter that is working well. Now if the new converter lasts as long the original, I'll be really pleased!

Welcome to the IRV2 forums:

You are lucky, our 99 Gas Endeavour converter/charger lasted all of 4 years, that original batteries actually lasted on one year from Sept.98, a coach we special ordered. Could not get battery warranty coverage, OEM of battery said it was expired, HR apparently bought a hugh quantity and installed them late.
HR also refused to assist.
By the way our converter replacement was a Progressive Dynamics 9060 with the Charge Wizard, great little option, it would equalize the battery's automatically every 21 days, sold our Endeavour in April, the battery's were 11 years old and still going strong.
Good luck.
